A New Mehrdad or A New Varoojan

The very small pieces of music from Googoosh's new album Manifest shows that the composer and arranger Mehrdad Assemani has done a great job. It reminds me of magical arrangements of the legendary Iranian musician Varoojan. In my opinion a new Varoojan is born. Thank you mehrdad aziz. DASTET DARD NAKONE

MIDEM was also the perfect venue for Barclay’s infamous parties. Although in the above photo he is shown with his then wife (one of a grand total of nine) attending the MIDEM 1971 opening cocktail party, he had just the previous night organised a bash at the notorious Whisky à Gogo club, in honour of Persian songstress Gougoush.

آلبوم زيبا بی مانند
دومين تيزر آلبوم مانيفست پخش شد و من ناباورانه اجرا، ترانه، ملودي و تنظيم آن را تحسين كردم. واقعا تنظيم و ملودي زيبا بسيار فراتر از انتظارات من از مهرداد بود . اين آگهي در مصاحبه مهرداد با تلويزيون جام جم صورت گرفت.
چرا حتما آلبوم اصل بخریم؟
برای حمایت از هنرمندی که نیم قرن در کنارمان بوده، اگرچه دو دهه خاموش شد ولی مردم در قلب او و او در خانه های ما بود
برای حمایت از کارخوب که بدور از ابتذال رایج زمانه با مخارج سرسام آور
و مشقات شبانه روزی تهیه گردیده
برای قدردانی از عزیزی که هرگزبه حقش نرسید ه
چگونه در ایران آلبوم اصل بخریم؟
از طریق دوستان و بستگان در خارج از کشور
در خلال سفرهای تفریحی خود و دوستان به دبی و کشورهای همسایه

Googoosh was among the top dignitories invited for the grand openning of MG gallery in LA. Our friend Mehrnaz got there just in time to see her and take these pics. in one of them Googoosh is signing autographs for Googooshlove.com and googoosh.tv and alireza the talented graphic artist in Tehran.
